After promotion from the second division last year it was awesome to get our season up and running with a victory in the first division. We bowled first and in overcast conditions restricted Iden to 170. I picked up 3 wickets in a welcome return to form and ran out two players including their opener who was on 70. We then knocked off the runs for only a couple of wickets with our captain and opener scoring a very good 80 and the evening was nicely rounded off with a few Beers up the Griffin.
